Sustainability

We want a festival where everyone feels respected and comfortable and can have a good time. That is why we do not tolerate any form of discrimination, exclusion, denigration, or harassment at Rock am Ring. Together, we want to create a space where everyone can feel accepted. Treating one another with respect and consideration is the foundation for a safe and positive festival experience. Therefore, demeaning or exclusionary behavior has no place at our festival. This includes statements or actions directed against a person’s appearance, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, or social and economic status.

Anyone who does anot adhere to these principles may be excluded from the event. Let’s work together to make Rock am Ring a place where everyone can celebrate carefree!

  • No place for racism, sexism, or other forms of discrimination. Respect for all people.
  • No harassment, insults, or inappropriate behavior—if something is unclear, it’s better to ask again. No means no!
  • Be considerate, support one another, and look out for each other!
  • Respect all festival attendees and their individual boundaries!
  • Mindfulness creates an environment where everyone feels more comfortable and safe. Look out for one another. If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, speak up or contact the designated support services!
  • “Party all you want, but not at the expense of others!”

By entering the festival grounds, you agree to abide by this code of conduct.
Violations may result in expulsion from the event.

PACK SMART

Please bring reusable foldable water bottles (max. 1 l), durable camping equipment, and biodegradable hygiene products without micro plastic whenever possible.
Please avoid single-use plastics and respect the glass ban.

CIGARETTE BUTTS DON’T BELONG ON THE GROUND

Please remember not to throw your cigarette butts on the ground. Use your own pocket ashtrays instead.
Every single cigarette butt pollutes 40 to 60 litres of groundwater.

SHOWER RESPONSIBLY

Please use biodegradable soap with as little packaging as possible, for example solid shampoo bars. Leave the showers clean, be mindful of your shower time, and save water for the people after you.

TRAVEL SMART

Use our city shuttles, travel by train, or share rides with others whenever possible.

CLIMATE-FRIENDLY FOOD

Look out for the green symbol at the food stalls.
It marks the most climate-friendly meal available at each stand.


LEAVE NO TRACE

Together, we can keep the camping areas clean. Please take your tents, pavilions, camping furniture, and electrical appliances back home with you after the festival.
