Enter Shikari

Enter Shikari is a British band from St Albans in the county of Hetfordshire. It was founded in 1999 under the name Hybrid by Roughten "Rou" Reynolds (vocals), Chris Batten (bass) and Rob Rolfe (drums). Guitarist Liam "Rory" Clewlow joined in 2003. In the same year they changed their name to Enter Shikari. They have been playing with the same line-up ever since. The band describe their musical style as trancecore. The songs are characterised by hardcore elements with electronic influences from trance, techno, dubstep and other electronic genres. Influences from metalcore, such as breakdowns, can also be found in parts. Rou Reynolds' unique vocal style includes a mixture of screams, growls, shouts, rap and clear vocals.
