Kerry King

Kerry King, guitarist of cult thrash metallers Slayer, who disbanded in 2019, is back after a five-year break with his solo project and album “From Hell I Rise”, which will be released on May 17th. In addition to King on the guitar, he is supported by top-class colleagues such as Mark Osegueda (Death Angel) on the microphone, bassist Kyle Sanders (ex-Hellyeah), guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-lence, ex-Machine Head) and long-time Slayer drummer, Paul Bostaph. Musically, Kerry wants to stay true to his heritage. Two of the songs come from the songwriting sessions for Slayer's “Repentless” and the track “Idle Hands” already offers a foretaste of where the creative journey is headed.
