Rock am Ring and Rock im Park continue their extraordinary success story. Following two consecutive sold-out editions, ticket sales for 2027 are once again reaching record-breaking levels: more than 100,000 Weekend Tickets have already been sold, with over 60,000 tickets purchased for Rock am Ring and more than 40,000 for Rock im Park. Demand for Germany’s biggest festivals has never been stronger.
For decades, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park have been synonymous with unforgettable festival moments. Generations of music fans have formed friendships, witnessed legendary performances and created memories to last a lifetime. Now, both festivals are experiencing the strongest ticket sales in their history.
Today marks the next major milestone with the first big wave of artists confirmed for 2027. Joining previously announced headliner blink-182 at the top of the bill are Die Toten Hosen and Bring Me The Horizon. The announcement also features Faith No More, Parkway Drive, Billy Talent, Evanescence, Turnstile, Falling In Reverse, The Prodigy and many more major acts.
A limited number of Day Tickets for Rock im Park also go on sale today. Rock am Ring, meanwhile, will once again be available exclusively as a full-weekend experience in 2027. Weekend Tickets, upgrades, Premium Camping and VIP options for both festivals also remain available.

With Die Toten Hosen, blink-182 and Bring Me The Horizon, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park bring together three bands that have shaped the sound of their respective generations – and continue to define it today.
A reunion decades in the making – and another chapter in festival history
When Die Toten Hosen return in 2027 for their tenth Rock am Ring and ninth Rock im Park appearance, it will be far more than another festival show. Since the early 1990s, the band and the two festivals have shared an extraordinary history – one built on legendary performances, unforgettable nights and generations of fans.
The band will arrive with “Trink aus, wir müssen gehen”, the final studio album of their career. But rather than grand farewell gestures, Die Toten Hosen remain true to themselves: full of energy, driven by the sheer joy of playing live and determined to approach every show as if there might never be another.
Campino says: “Rock am Ring and Rock im Park have been an integral part of Die Toten Hosen’s history ever since we were first invited to play there in the 1990s. We’ve fought legendary battles there, celebrated wild parties, torn ligaments, made friends and woken up in other people’s beds and tents more than once. The two twin festivals hold a special place in our hearts, and we’re incredibly happy to be stopping by once more as we head into the home stretch.”

Rock history meets the sound of today
Rock am Ring and Rock im Park have always been home to the bands that define their time. In 2027, icons, long-awaited returns and some of the most important acts of a new generation come together – connecting four decades of rock history with the artists shaping its future.
One of the most spectacular moments of the festival weekend is set to be the return of Faith No More. Twelve years after their last performance in Germany, one of the most influential bands in alternative rock history will make their festival-exclusive return at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. With Mike Patton’s unmistakable voice, their groundbreaking fusion of rock, metal, funk and alternative, and a catalogue filled with classics, Faith No More have influenced generations of musicians and long since cemented their status as one of the most defining bands in rock music.
Mike Patton says: “What can we say, the last time we saw our friends Die Toten Hosen it was over 13 years ago, and it was in Argentina. We'd be happy just to see them again...but if it's going to mean playing together at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, well, this is about as good as it gets for celebrating good times.”
At the same time, Bring Me The Horizon take their place at the top of the bill as a band that has defined the sound of a new generation. Few acts have pushed rock music forward as relentlessly as the British band fronted by Oli Sykes. With every release and every tour, they continue to redefine what modern rock can be. Blurring the boundaries between metal, alternative, electronic music and pop, they have created a sound unmistakably their own and, with sold-out arena and stadium tours and spectacular festival performances around the world, established themselves as one of the biggest rock acts of their generation.
The line-up reads like a cross-section of the international rock and metal landscape. Parkway Drive have risen from the Australian metal scene to become one of the biggest metal bands in the world and return with new music and their globally acclaimed live show. They have long since established themselves at the very forefront of modern metal.
The Prodigy bring another explosive dimension to the weekend. For more than three decades, they have torn down the boundaries between electronic music and rock, becoming one of the most electrifying festival acts on the planet with their uncompromising live energy.
Long-standing fan favourites Billy Talent are currently back in the studio working on their next album. Their return to Rock am Ring and Rock im Park marks another chapter in the band’s long history with the festivals.
Following their sold-out arena tour, Evanescence, led by frontwoman Amy Lee, make their return to the major festival stages.
Turnstile, meanwhile, are one of the most exciting guitar bands in the world right now. The US band embodies the creative force of a new generation, seamlessly bringing together hardcore, punk, alternative and indie in a sound that has earned them global acclaim.
Falling In Reverse are among the most successful modern rock acts of recent years and add to a line-up whose breadth is further underlined by Motionless In White, Bullet For My Valentine, Lorna Shore, I Prevail, Nothing But Thieves, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Imminence, Orbit Culture, Beartooth, Bad Religion, Simple Plan, Donots, Poppy, Trailerpark and Ski Aggu.
Together, they form a line-up that once again establishes Rock am Ring and Rock im Park as the meeting point for the biggest names, defining artists and most exciting new directions in international rock music.
