Rock am Ring and Telekom Launch Partnership – Livestream and Strong Network Quality for 2026
The three-day festival sold out in record time with 90,000 tickets – earlier than ever before. While massive crowds of fans celebrate at the Nuerburgring, Rock am Ring will also be available digitally: Telekom will stream both main stages live and free of charge via MagentaMusik on MagentaTV, allowing fans at home and on the go to join the experience. In addition, Telekom will deliver exclusive content across its digital channels, including live formats, artist interviews, and behind-the-scenes insights, bringing Rock am Ring even closer to audiences everywhere.
Telekom will also provide additional mobile network capacity on the festival grounds. Through the deployment of temporary mobile network towers, the company will further strengthen existing coverage to ensure stable connections even during peak usage, enabling fans on site to stay connected throughout the weekend.
The partnership is initially set to run through 2028 and builds on the successful collaboration between the two partners from 2017 to 2019.
“Rock am Ring is one of Europe’s strongest festival brands. With Telekom, we are partnering with a company that shares our ambition to intelligently connect the on-site experience with digital reach. Together, we are creating a platform that delivers the highest quality both live at the Nuerburgring and via stream,” says Marc Seemann, Chief Talent & Partnership Officer at PRK DreamHaus.
“We bring the unique Rock am Ring festival atmosphere directly to the people – live, intense, and full of emotion,” explains Arnim Butzen, Head of Telekom TV. “Together with our partner, we create unforgettable moments on site while connecting fans digitally. This unique combination of live atmosphere and digital proximity is something only Telekom can offer.”
Following the completely sold-out anniversary edition in 2025 and a production that set new benchmarks in LED and sound design, Rock am Ring continues its success story in 2026 with a monumental line-up. International heavyweights of the rock and alternative scene including Linkin Park, Iron Maiden, Volbeat, Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Bad Omens, Electric Callboy, Sabaton, The Offspring and many more will take the stage.
