Rock am Ring can be reached via Ahrbrück, Koblenz and Bonn railway stations and the connecting special bus services.

ARRIVING BY LONG DISTANCE COACH
We recommend the cheap and environmentally friendly option of arriving by coach. You can find suitable trips on www.fernbusse.de – a German comparison portal for long distance coaches in Germany and Europe.
You can take a coach to the cities of Cologne, Bonn or Koblenz. From there, the special bus services will get you to the Nürburgring hassle free.
CONNECTION TO KOBLENZ CENTRAL STATION AND AHRBRÜCK TRAIN STATION
From Koblenz Central Station, as well as from Ahrbrück Train Station to Nürburgring D10 and back, Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund provide special coaches.
Koblenz Central Station – Nürburgring
Bus Stop Koblenz: Neversstraße 8, Coach departure point (located 300 m from Central Station in front of Sparda-Bank building). The duration of a one-way trip is app. 60 minutes. Timetable and prices will be published here in due time before the festival.
Ahrbrück Train Station– Nürburgring
Bus stop at train station Ahrbrück: in front of the station building. The duration of a one-way trip is app. 35 minutes. Tariffs of Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Mosel apply. Timetable and prices will be published here in due time before the festival.
CONNECTION TO COLOGNE – AIRPORT CGN – BONN
Travel partner Schneider-Bank Reisen is operating coach services from Cologne Central Station, Airport CGN, Bonn Central Station and Nürburgring D10. Timetable and prices will be published here in due time before the festival.
COACH STATION NÜRBRUGRING D10
Located at D10 you will find the coach stop, where coaches from and to all external destinations arrive at and depart from Nürburgring.
ARRIVING BY CAR
If you are coming by car from Mayer/Koblenz or Cologne/Bonn via the A61, take the exit for Wehr, then follow the B412 and B258 directly to the Nürburgring. From Trier via the A48, taking the Ulmen exit onto the B 257 towards Adenau leads to the Nurbürgring. Please watch out for the signs for the parking and camping areas before you reach the Nürburgring and follow the stewards’ instructions.
OPENING TIMES FOR PARKING AND CAMPING AREAS
The campsites in all camping categories apart from Rock am Ring Experience open on Wednesday, 03 June 2020 at 12 pm and can be used by all camping ticket holders. Rock am Ring Experience opens on Wednesday, 03 June 2020 at 6 pm.
All parking and camping areas close on Monday 08 June 2020 at 12pm.
Parking cars and trailers in designated parking areas is allowed, but camping or sleeping in vehicles is not. The parking areas for the General, Green, Rock’n’Roll and Experience categories are each located close to their respective camping areas. Please follow the signs. Access to the parking areas is only permitted with a valid camping ticket. In return for a parking fee, attendees who do not want to camp on site can use the separately signed day parking areas and take the shuttlebus to the festival site from the nearest stop.
CAMPING AND FESTIVAL WRISTBAND
Before entering the campsites, every attendee must go to a wristband issue point where they exchange the tear-off section of their entry ticket for a camping wristband and a festival wristband. When you check in at the wristband issue point, all tickets are checked for validity and scanned.
Wristband issue points are located at the entrances and in parking areas A2, B3 (at the main entrance), B5, B5c, B7, B9, C6, D5 (at the north entrance), D9, Krebsberg and Schwalbenschwanz. The wristband issue points open with their respective parking and camping areas and remain in operation until Friday afternoon (Exception: Schwalbenschwanz closed during night times). The wristband issue points at the main entrance and the north entrance remain open during the weekend at the following times:

ENTRANCES – HAND CARTS – CAMPING EQUIPMENT – LUGGAGE CHECKS
When entering a camping area, selective checks and searches of attendees and their luggage will be carried out for prohibited items. Please refer to the parking and camping rules here for a list of items not allowed on the campsites. Hand cart can be used to transport luggage, but car trailers are not allowed. People with hand carts must be prepared for longer waiting times when entering the campsites.
All campsites are only accessible on foot. Luggage can only be unloaded in the parking areas. The displayed parking and camping rules apply. More information here.
OCCUPYING THE CAMPING PLOTS
All categories open at 12pm on 05 June 2019. Please observe the following instructions on occupying the camping plots:
Be sure that attendees do not leave any large gaps between tents
Avoid creating large empty spaces in the middle of a plot which can no longer be seen as a free camping site from the outside.
Blocking empty sites for group members arriving later is NOT allowed.
