Loud, direct and uncompromising: For more than three decades, Betontod have stood for German-language punk rock with attitude. Formed in Rheinberg, Germany, in 1990, the band have worked their way from their first gigs at local youth centres to major festival stages. Their sound combines powerful guitars and anthemic choruses with influences from rock and metal. Their lyrics explore friendship, solidarity, social issues and the ups and downs of life.It’s on stage that Betontod truly show what they’re all about: Between mosh pits, roaring guitars and crowd singalongs, the band create a special connection with their audience that has been part of their identity since the very beginning.
