Mittel Alta

Mittel Alta combine medieval soundscapes with rap and modern influences. Founded in 2023, the project does not aim for an authentic portrayal of the past, instead turning knights, taverns, and all kinds of crude tales into material for their own songs. Medieval instruments are complemented by modern beats, while the German-language lyrics deliberately move between absurd humor and stories from a long-gone era. The band also draws on medieval imagery in its visual style, making the combination of historical aesthetics and modern music a central part of their concept.
